Anthropic has closed a $30 billion Series G funding round, the second-largest private tech fundraising in history after OpenAI's recent rounds. The investment more than doubles the AI startup's valuation to $380 billion, signaling robust investor confidence in enterprise AI solutions.

Singapore's GIC and Coatue led the round, with participation from Sequoia Capital, Goldman Sachs, NVIDIA, and other prominent firms. The capital infusion will accelerate frontier research and expand infrastructure for Anthropic's Claude platform, which now boasts a $14 billion annual run rate.

The funding underscores the intensifying race for dominance in generative AI. While no specific cryptocurrencies were mentioned in the announcement, the deal highlights growing institutional appetite for cutting-edge technology investments that could eventually intersect with blockchain-based AI projects.
